Areas of interestNepal, Tibet, Himalaya. Anthropology of religion, Hinduism, cognitive science of religion, ritual studies, culture and cognition, risk perception and management, religious violence, medical anthropology, psychological anthropology, death studies, philosophy of science, evolutionary psychology.

Current researchNon-funded research in the cognitive anthropology of religion and ritual studies.

FieldexperienceOne year fieldwork in Nepal/Tibet, within Ph D Project funded by Vetenskapsrådet (2003).
