Jenny Wiik is on leave 2021 while she is working at Lindholmen Science Park.
Jenny Wiik (PhD) is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Journalism, Media and Communication (JMG) at the University of Gothenburg. Her research interest concerns journalism as a profession, and the challenges of this profession in a time of technological, political and economic change. She graduated in 2010 with the thesis Journalism in Transition.

Teaching
Jenny was until 2019 Programme Coordinator for JMG's Master Programme in Investigative Journalism (MIJ) and she is supervising dissertations on the bachelor degree in Journalism.
Between 2014-18 she functioned as program censor for the journalism program at Bergen University.
