About Sirkka-Liisa Marjatta Uusimäki

Associate Professor Liisa Uusimäki joined Göteborgs Universitet, Sweden in January 2013. Her areas of teaching include both International and Swedish postgraduate and undergraduate courses (e.g., pedagogical/educational leadership, mentoring/supervision, globalisation and comparative education).

Based on her interest and expertise in the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education she received in 2018 an Excellent Teacher award (equivalent to Associate Professor, Teaching and Learning) from the Faculty of Education at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Liisa has also extensive teaching and research experience in Teacher Education from several Australian Universities, include, Charles Stuart University, Albury, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC).
