My main research interests concern educational assessment, national and international large-scale assessments, and test development and validation.
Current projects
Currently, I am involved in a project funded by Riksbankens Jubileumsfond where we explore Sweden's results in PISA 2018. More specifically, we investigate the extent to which the PISA sample is representative for the whole population, and how PISA scores are related to students' national test results and grades. Project leader is Dr. Stefan Johansson.
Exploring English writing proficiency among grade 9 students in Sweden through automated text analysis of national test essays from 2000 to 2022, funded by Marcus and Amalia Wallenberg Foundation. Project leader is Dr. Eva Olsson.
I am also engaged in the development and analysis of National Tests of Foreign Languages – Projektet Nationella prov i främmande språk (NAFS)
My teaching interests include educational assessment and measurement theory (CTT and IRT).
