About Micael Björk

Micael Björk is Professor of Sociology at the University of Gothenburg and Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Police Work at the University of Borås.

His research deals with police work, especially management and organisation in areas such as criminal investigation and police reform. In parallel, Micael Björk has studied gang crime and organised crime. In the past, he has also researched popular education and democratic culture from a historical perspective.
