MOMENT 5: At home at Stigberget

Welcome to an exhibition of historical photographs from Stigberget 1898–1988. The starting point is a comprehensive photo archive with images by wallpaper dealer Axel Svensson, his son Arne Svensson, and his granddaughter Lena Carlsson. Axel and Arne lived on Bangatan, and Lena conducted documentation projects on Gothenburg’s changing cityscape for several decades. The exhibition is a collaborative project between GPS400, FLOCK & MYLLER, HDK-Valand, the Swedish National Archives, the Association (b)id Stigberget, Higab, and the Hasselblad Foundation. The exhibition's opening takes place at the Gathenhielmska House from 17:00 to 20:00 on Thursday, August 29, and is then open Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00 until September 29.
