FilmED – Laboratory for Film Education: From Discourse to Practice
This project is a Erasmus+ collaboration between Netherlands Film Academy, Amsterdam | HDK Valand, Gothenburg University, Sweden | Łódź Film School, Poland
Film education requires revised teaching and learning approaches in a world dominated by images with the ubiquity of the camera to communicate information and transfer knowledge. Through experimentation with teaching methods that draw from concepts in visual language, this three-year laboratory provides teachers with time and resources to expand pedagogy practices to include embodied and experiential learning.
FilmED – Laboratory for Film Education: From Discourse to Practice aims to create more inclusive learning environments through innovative curricula through critically engaged and responsible audio-media development and education.
