Our research

The research at the Faculty of Education covers education, learning and child and youth studies, as well as sports, nutrition and health.

Education and health are two of the most urgent global challenges of our time. We carry out research with relevance for the educational system and teacher professions as well as people's life and health. Our research has a broad disciplinary base in the social sciences with interdisciplinary elements from, for example, natural science and medicine. A large part of our research is practice-based and is carried out in collaboration with the surrounding community, and several of our research environments are internationally prominent.
