Doctoral Studies
At the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology we conduct third-cycle education within the following PhD subjects: medical science, basic medicine, health care science and pharmaceutical science.
In addition to neuroscience and physiology, at this Institute we also educate future experts and researchers in child psychiatry, physical therapy, and addiction, to name a few subjects. The doctoral education comprises 240 higher education credits, which corresponds to four years of full-time studies, and usually concludes with a doctoral degree. There is also the possibility to complete the education with a licentiate degree of 120 credits.
