Breadcrumb

We want as many people as possible to be able to use the website. This page describes how gu.se/en/nsfg.se complies with the accessibility regulations, any known accessibility issues, and how you can report problems so that we can fix them.

How accessible is the gu.se/en/nsfg website

The majority of the content fulfils the law on accessibility to digital public services. However, we are aware that parts of the website are not fully accessible. See the section ‘Known accessibility issues’ for more information.

Known accessibility issues

The content described below on gu.se/nsfg is not fully accessible in one way or another.

General shortcomings

  • On the Publications page and other pages including PDF files, there are a number of empty heading tags, which can cause problems for visitors using screen readers. We plan to fix this as soon as it is technically possible. This shortcoming is related to the university's publishing tool Drupal and we have reported the issue on 10 October 2024.
  • Some pieces of text are written in a language other than the surrounding text, but are not marked for this in code, which causes problems for screen readers.

Here is the University of Gothenburg's accessibility statement for the entire website.

Files

A few PDFs may contain complex tables that have not been fully made accessible. This applies to publications where the secretariat has contributed content, but where we are not the responsible publisher. In this case, you may need to contact the original publisher to obtain a fully accessible version of the document.

A few PDFs may contain empty tags and content that is not tagged correctly. This is due to bugs in Adobe Acrobat that prohibit tags from being deleted and making content disappear when trying to adjust tags/containers.

Content not covered by the law

The content described here is not fully accessible, but is exempt under section 9 of the Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Services.

  • Publications and other documents published before 23 September 2018 are not accessible.
  • Video published before 23 September 2020 are not visually interpreted and in some cases not subtitled.
