The Nordic PhD Program in Management Accounting is a Nordic collaboration for research studies in management accounting. The collaboration began in 2001 at the initiative of the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Bergen. In 2007, the Aarhus BSS at the Aarhus University joined the partnership. The Stockholm School of Economics and the Swedish Business School at Örebro University became partners in 2010. The group of collaborating universities was expanded in 2019 when the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and the Nord University, Bodø, joined.
