About us
The Faculty of Science and Technology is a dynamic, inclusive and international environment for curious science enthusiasts. It brings together different disciplines to tackle major societal challenges through innovative synergies and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Our research contributes to new discoveries as we seek answers to important questions, and we actively contribute to the societal debate. With top-quality programmes, we give our students the tools to explore, understand and change the world, while ensuring society's need for excellence in science and technology. Through cooperation and innovation, we find solutions that benefit everyone.
The faculty's nine departments bring together research and education in the subjects of biology, earth sciences, physics, IT, chemistry, conservation, marine sciences, mathematics, environmental science and molecular biology. We have a close connection to Chalmers University of Technology and two of our departments are shared with them.
We believe in close collaborations and strive for close ties between researchers and students.
