Writer’s Retreat
Researchers at the University of Gothenburg can apply for the Centre for Sea and Society to cover the costs of transdisciplinary writer’s retreats.
Researchers from a minimum of two faculties at the University of Gothenburg have to be represented to receive funding. Furthermore, the application must relate to the work areas of the Centre. The preliminary travel costs for participating at the retreat must be stated in the application.
If the application is approved, Sea and Society covers the costs of accommodation and food. The maximum funding is 30 000 SEK. The Centre also covers costs for participants from outside the university.
Sea and Society especially welcomes applications for writer’s retreats arranged at any of the two research stations on Tjärnö and Kristineberg, where there are excellent conference premises and accommodations to stay overnight.
Applicants who receive funding are expected to send in a short report to the Centre following the retreat.
