Application

When should you apply?

All international students are encouraged to apply in the first admission round. This round takes place many months before the start of the semester and gives students the time they need to pay their tuition fees, apply for and receive a residence permit (if required), find housing, etc.

  • Application period: October – January
  • The deadline for submitting all documentation is in February

The admissions results for the second admissions round are published in July, which means that students who require a residence permit for studies in Sweden (non-EU/EEA citizens) will not have enough time to have their residence permit application processed and approved, before the start of the semester. We do not recommend that you apply in the second round unless you are a citizen of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland.

How to apply?

The documents you need to attach are:

  • Application made using our CV template
  • Proof of education from a previous Bachelor’s degree or professional degree, if it was not issued in Sweden
  • Grades in English B/English 6, TOEFL, IELTS or TWE test, or equivalent according to the instructions on universityadmissions.se
  • Grades in Mathematics 3b or 3c or equivalent according to the instructions on universityadmissions.se

Use our CV template
The application should be written in English, and applications using our CV template will be prioritized.

Selection

Applicants with a complete application in English made using our CV template, along with formal certificates of the required qualifications, will be given priority.

Applications are ranked based on quality and content. Applicants who do not include the completed CV template in their application but meet the other eligibility requirements and have attached the other documents may be admitted if there are available spots.
