What do we mean by sustainable digital society?
Of course, there are many aspects and complex connections to map in order to provide answers, and in our research and education this question is constantly present. The question concerns both how we can use the enormous potential of digitalisation to solve societal problems and contribute to sustainability, while at the same time identifying and managing the challenges that digitalisation also creates. The fundamental idea is that a sustainable digital society is both about developing sustainable technology and a sustainable use of technology.
