About Fredrik Bergh Thorén

Fredrik Bergh Thorén is Professor of Medical Cell Biology at the Department of Medical Biochemistry and Cell Biology and Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research. He obtained his PhD in 2007 on studies of cell death pathways in oxidant-exposed lymphocytes. After postdoctoral studies on the innate crosstalk between NK cells and neutrophils in the labs of Prof Alessandro Moretta and Prof Lorenzo Moretta at the University of Genoa in Italy, he established his own lab with a focus on different aspects of NK cell interactions with other immune cells and malignant cells.
