About Linda Bradley

Linda Bradley is an Associate Professor in pedagogy at the Department of Education, Communication and Learning, also working at the Pedagogical Development and Interactive Learning unit (PIL). Linda is International Coordinator at the Faculty of Education.

Linda’s research concerns social interaction and the use of digital technology in learning and education. Currently, her research focuses on teaching and learning in higher education as well as digital and mobile learning in formal and informal settings with migrants. The most recent project is the Vinnova project Digital communication – The key to increased integration, which concerns vocational digital language learning with foreign-born persons in Sweden. Linda has been a project leader for Minclusion, a research and development project of mobile learning applications for newly arrived Arabic speaking migrants to Sweden with a focus on pedagogical approaches in digital technology for learning Swedish and about Swedish culture. Another interest is open learning and education where she has investigated open learning practices through her work in three EU projects with the aim of developing pedagogical and methodological approaches to using digital tools for teaching and learning.

Concerning teaching, Linda has a long experience in technical communication and Language for Specific Purposes (LSP) for engineering students as well as Master Mariner students at Chalmers University of Technology. Currently, at University of Gothenburg, Linda is mainly teaching higher education teaching and learning at the PIL unit and at the International Master’s Programme in Information Technology and Learning.

Linda is also vice-president of the non-profit association Research-publishing.net.
