Research
The Centre for Health Governance research has its starting point with the many challenges the health care sector faces, challenges especially suitable for interdisciplinary, cross-professional and cross-sectorial collaborations.
Research results that will have the potential to give great effects on the population's health and for the society organisation and economy. The aim is to support a sustainable societal development within the health care sector through research and cooperation between people active within the academy, the public administration and the business community.

Research areas within Health Governance has a wide spectra, from governance and management to making cost effective treatments. Also about policy governance, both about its alignment and implementation, with significance for the national progress within the health care sector. The center prioritized areas are:
Within the framework Agenda 2030 for sustainable development the importance of development of knowledge supporting countries in their practicing of sustainable and effective "Health System Governance". There is a focus on how different actors can strengthen their ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve UN goals for sustainable global development (SDGs) within the health care sector set for 2030.
