School of Public Health and Community Medicine
Welcome to the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, where research is done and education provided in the area of community medicine and public health.
Our vision is to contribute to better health for all and reduce health disparities locally and globally through research, education, and collaboration. We base our work on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development goal of good health, which is a fundamental prerequisite for people to reach their full potential and contribute to societal development. We offer two popular master’s programmes in public health science and global health that attract students from around the world. Additionally, we provide a variety of freestanding courses and commissioned education. Our research study everything from the sound environment and health to biostatistics, global public health, work environment, and mental health.
