The course Education and geography - methods for measuring and analysing spatiality is designed to provide you with a basic introduction to various methods and techniques used to measure and analyse different aspects of spatiality in education, such as educational segregation and social stratification in urban and rural areas.
The course gives you tools to independently design and perform spatial analyses of geographical data, as well as critically evaluate and interpret research on segregation and social stratification within education.
Entry requirements
Knowledge equivalent to the learning goals in QRMs course Basic statistics for educational research (QRM1800) and Regression analysis in educational research (QRM1802).
