Measurement: Theory and applications in educational research, 7.5 credits
Why do knowledge tests, questionnaires, and other tests and measurement instruments look like they do, and what methods are used to evaluate their characteristics? How can one know that an assessment task, a rating scale or a complete instrument is "good"?
Would you like to gain a deeper understanding of the theoretical foundations for the designs of educational science instruments, and an increased knowledge of how to create reliable measurements, as well as practical knowledge of how to analyse the characteristics of different types of tasks, scales and tests?
If so, then this course is for you!
