Structural equation modelling in educational research, 7.5 credits
Are t-tests and simple regression analyzes really sufficient to analyze your data? Do you want to learn more about latent variables, measure abstract concepts and examine cross-lagged relationships between variables? Then this basic course of structural equation modeling may be something for you!
SEM can be described as a further development of multiple regression analysis that allows analysis of both directly observable variables and latent, non-observable variables. The course gives an introduction to structural equation modeling, where confirmatory factor analysis is included as an important part. The Mplus software is required for this course.
