Interdisciplinary research and education, communication and collaboration - this is how you can summarize the mission of the Center for the Sea and Society. We work for broad collaborations, both with other authorities and organizations and with the business community. Through a number of communication initiatives, we work to increase awareness and knowledge about the sea and make visible the research that takes place at the University of Gothenburg. The center also administers the university's common entrance to all sea-related activities - Ocean.
