R/V Skagerak is a marine infrastructure at the Department of Marine Sciences at the University of Gothenburg.

In 2024, the University of Gothenburg appointed a steering group to deal with strategic, financial and operational issues concerning R/V Skagerak.
R/V Skagerak reports on its activities to the Steering Group, which in turn reports centrally to the University on the development of R/V Skagerak.
At the same time, the Faculty of Science and the University of Gothenburg are involved in the decision-making process regarding R/V Skagerak.
