Scientific data
Data builds knowledge. On every expedition, the R/V Skagerak's state-of-the-art equipment and sensors collect high-quality data that is openly available to all users.
A data management strategy for R/V Skagerak is still under development, but the data collected on Skagerak are being stored and will soon be made freely available on a scientific data server, ERDDAP.
In the long term, we plan to deliver all data collected on board R/V Skagerak to the Swedish National Oceanographic Data Centre (SMHI) for further delivery to international data repositories.
