About Magnus Simrén

Pro-Dean at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg. Professor of Medical Gastroenterology at the University of Gothenburg and University Senior Consultant in Medical Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the Department of Medicine, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Leads a multidisciplinary research group in neurogastroenterology with a focus on the pathophysiology of functional gastrointestinal disorders in general, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in particular, as well as the treatment of these diseases.
