Research interest
My research primarily focuses on politics of knowledge and changing demands for professional skills. This involves examining how such ambitions are materialized and consequently, how they affect people’s lives and work by stipulating new competencies. My approach is rooted in a bottom-up perspective, focusing on those who are the targets of these change demands and directives, including the hierarchies, boundaries, and disparities that are created and/or perpetuated as a result.
