Forskningsintressen Annika Lantz-Andersson är professor i Pedagogik och innehållsligt har hon ett forskningsintresse som rör hur digitaliseringen förändrar villkoren för lärande, skola och utbildning. Med utgångspunkt i den informationstäta och kunskapsrika värld vi lever i, innefattar detta ett intresse för hur teknologier samspelar med individers och organisationers sätt att lära, dokumentera och kommunicera genom skrift och andra symbolsystem, och hur detta förändrar förutsättningarna för utbildningspraktiker. Annika har varit involverad i flera forskningsprojekt avseende ungas deltagande och lärande i den samtida medieekologin med ett fokus på kommunikation, socialisering och lärande när digital teknik ingår i interaktionerna. Hennes intresse motiveras av den expansiva digitaliseringen som bland annat innebär att barn har tillgång till digitala texter och verktyg från en tidig ålder vilket ger upphov till frågor om vad dessa förändringar betyder för deras lärande. Detta intresse har också involverat ungdomars interaktion och socialisering på sociala medier samt implikationerna för lärande i dessa sammanhang. För närvarande har Annika riktat sin forskning mot lärares professionella digitala kompetens.
För närvarande leder Annika två forskningsprojekt med fokus på lärares professionella digitala kompetens, det ena är finansierat av Vetenskapsrådet och det andra av ULF. Läs mer om projekten här:

Annika är också forskningskoordinator för Göteborgsgruppen, ett nav för att organisera tvärvetenskaplig forskning och för att mobilisera ett nätverk av nationell och internationell expertis som berör digitaliseringens implikationer av samhälle och utbildning. Forskningsmiljön grundar sig i ett mångårigt samarbete mellan Utbildningsvetenskapliga fakulteten och IT fakulteten.
