The project application process starts with evaluation of new project ideas, a continuous process throughout the year.

Contact us for a free-of-charge, confidential discussion. Projects are prioritized twice yearly by our external steering group and are approved to the OligoNova,/SciLifeLab DDD portfolio after thorough evaluation of the scientific, therapeutic and commercial landscape.
A three-part collaboration
When accepted to the portfolio, the project is progressed jointly by the academic principal investigator’s team, OligoNova Hub/ SciLifeLab DDD and the university innovation offices to increase the value of the asset and the chances of reaching the market and benefitting patients.
The deal
OligoNova Hub/SciLifeLab DDD offers industry-standard infrastructure, a team of experienced drug discovery experts, and strategic support to help the asset progress towards a preclinical proof-of-concept molecule. The delivery is supported by a validated data package for further development towards commercialization.
In parallel, the academic Principal Investigator and their team continues to build knowledge around the target biology. Importantly, the Principal Investigator retains all intellectual property rights to the asset, in accordance with the Swedish ‘Professor’s Privilege’.
